This game is probably my favorite Pokemon game. There is so much things to do in this game it is just unbeliable! It is a lot better than Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire because this is just so much more content and things to do! I also like this game because you can catch both Groudon, and Kyogre. I love the Battle Frontier even though I've only gotten on Frontier Symbol, and I love how long the story is. I also am happy with this game because you can duplicate and send Pokemon back to Pokemon Diamond and Pearl which is nice because you don't lose Pokemon on Emerald, but you gain Pokemon on Diamond/Pearl. This game is da BOMB!!

You may be asking: How is Pokemon Emerald different from Ruby or Sapphire? The answer: It's not really different at all. It's basically Ruby and Sapphire fused into a single game (they should never have been separate games in the first place) plus some add-ons. There's really not too much to say about this game- just read a review of Ruby or Sapphire and you'll have the general idea. However, there are some things that were added that make playing this game somewhat worthwhile. The main new thing is the Battle Frontier, which is actually pretty challenging. You basically face Pokemon that are on the same level as yours in different battle formats. After you win a certain amount of matches in a row, you face the main boss for that arena, 7 in all. This makes the game interesting even after you beat the Elite 4 (which you'll do in about 5 hours, trust me). Another addition is a few Johto Pokemon, but that's been seen before in Leaf Green and Fire Red. PROS: Battle Frontier, collecting all the Pokemon keep you going CONS: IT IS THE SAME THING AS RUBY AND SAPPHIRE!!!!!

This is a good game, but ive played better. Some of the areas are to hard to get around in. I cant beleve that lengendary Pokemon cant go in contests. That sucks man :(. Why do you think i got the dang Reqaza!?!?!?!?!?!1 besides that, its a pretty good game. the battle frontear could use some updating though....

I don't care what the hell anyone says about Pokemon, everytime a new Pokemon game is released it's a WIN, they keep doing it over and over again and it never ever gets old, it just gets better and better. Believe me, I've owned everysingle Pokemon version except for FireRed, and I even play that because my best friend has it. I've beaten each generation and I still love these games, it's impossible not to like them once you start playing. Anyone who disses Pokemon games are just lying to themselves, they are really afraid to admit that Pokemon is still doing it, since it wasn't cool to them back in the 90s, it's not cool for them today, but it's like saying that sex isn't cool anymore- it's always cool silly! I can't get enough of these damn little monsters that fit inside that ball. You may even say that Emerald is just a remake of Ruby and Saphire, but there is far more to Emerald than you think, much more that I'd say it doubles Ruby and Saphire in Fun Factor. Own this game, go out and buy it, you'll never regret it!
